Lamb Sumac Pizza with Tzatziki Dip

A Mediterranean and Middle Eastern inspired lamb sumac pizza with tzatziki dip that is easy to make and full of flavour.

  • 2 large prepared pizza bases

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 500g lean lamb mince

  • 2 large cloves garlic peeled and crushed

  • ½ cup tomato paste

  • 2 large tomatoes finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano leaves chopped

  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • extra oil for drizzling

  • 2 teaspoons sumac

  • 200g tub Chris’ Tzatziki Dip

  • fresh mint leaves for garnish

Preheat oven to 190°C and lightly grease two oven trays.

Heat olive oil in a large frying pan, add lamb mince & garlic and cook until colour changes slightly. Set aside to cool while preparing toppings. Combine tomato paste, tomatoes, oregano, sea salt & black pepper and spread evenly over both pizza bases. Top each pizza with half the cooked lamb and half the sumac. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. When cooked, top with spoonful’s of Chris’ tzatziki dip and garnish with fresh mint leaves. Serves 4-6.
