The Perfect Greek Entertaining Platter
Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
For Board:
1 x Chris’ Heritage Vintage Cheddar and Caramelised Onion dip
1 x pomegranate
2 - 3 passion fruits - cut in half
1 x punnet of cherry tomatoes
1 x tub baby bell peppers stuffed with cream cheese
200g Walnuts
Selection of hot and mild salami
1 x jar kalamata olives
6 x dolmades (stuffed vine leaves)
Fresh oregano, to serve
Pita bread - grilled with olive oil & oregano
For Greek Salad:
1 x cucumber
3 x tomatoes
1 red onion
50g greek feta
Pitted Kalamata olives
Olive Oil, dried oregano, lemon & pepper to serve
Method:
Organise board ingredients on your favourite board in the order that you like - we like cutting our pomegranate and passion fruits in half to show the inside!
Place olive oil and oregano in a small bowl, and brush pita with the mixture with a pastry brush before putting on the grill to heat and char slightly
For the greek salad, chop up cucumbers, tomatoes and red onions into chunks and place into a bowl. Top with kalamata olives and crumble feta over the top. We love topping our greek salad with some dried oregano, olive oil and some black pepper
Finally, place a few lemon wedges around the board and salad for some extra flavour
