Healthy Hommus Canapés

Makes 30 Canapés Total

Ingredients:

1 Tub of Chris’ Dips Traditional Hommus

Hommus & Sundried Tomato Cucumber Bites

  • 1 large cucumber, cut into 2-3 centimetre slices

  • 5 sundried or semi-dried tomatoes, halved

  • Black pepper, to serve

Hommus & Salmon Cucumber Bites

  • 1 hot-smoked salmon fillet

  • 5 basil leaves, torn in half

Hommus & Onion Mini Toasts

  • 12 mini toasts (or your favourite cracker)

  • 1 onion, caramelised (great for using leftover onions from the BBQ)

Method:

Hommus & Sundried Tomato Cucumber Bites

  1. Scoop out about half the flesh of the cucumber slices to make a cup

  2. Spoon in half a teaspoon of Chris’ Hommus Dip into each cucumber cup

  3.  Top each cup with half a sun dried tomato and sprinkle with pepper before serving

Hommus & Salmon Cucumber Bites

  1. Scoop out about half the flesh of the cucumber slices to make a cup.

  2. Spoon in half a teaspoon of Chris’ Hommus Dip into each cucumber cup.

  3. Place a piece of basil in the hummus slightly to the side of each cup.

  4. Top with a small piece of torn hot smoked salmon.

  5. Sprinkle with pine nuts before serving.

Hommus & Onion Mini Toasts

  1. Top each of the mini toasts with half a teaspoon of Chris’ Hommus Dip.

  2. Sprinkle each toast with some caramelised onion.
